Black Roots + Bitter Sweet Stories

The first film in a trilogy in which Lionel Rogosin addresses the persistent injustice and racism in American society. Accompanied by a fantastic soundtrack featuring iconic African-American musicians, including Ray Charles, John Coltrane and Jimi Hendrickx, who speak out about their day-to-day experiences of racism. Bitter Sweet Memories documents the film’s production process.
